Tim Brown came into the electronic music scene in early 1996. After hearing the music that would soon change his life,
he decided to become what he had listened to in the previous year. In July of 1997 he took the 1st step by purchasing
2 Technics 1200 mk2’s & a Gemini 626 mixer, along with some DnB, Trance & Techno records. After hearing a friend
play some tracks at his pad, & train wreck all over the place, he made a bet to himself that within a year he
would be rocking shows. Sure enough in 1998 he got his 1st gig at Big Heart City in SF at a show called
“The Beginning”, calling himself “Diversion” & playing with heavy hitters, Mars & Mystere, The Happy Kids Marty & Ian & Thomas Trouble.
Shortly after his 97, Tim Established himself in the bay area as a go to guy in the underground rave scene playing
Tech-Trance, Hard NRG & almost anything else rocking warehouses all over the bay area. As time passed the scene in his own area started going
nuts & so he left the Trance behind & went after his true calling, House Music. Reverting to the north bay & having just started Higher Conscience
with a couple friends, free outdoors were what it was all about. From 1998-2004 Tim kept on doin the bomb outdoor shows & the family grew & grew.
Now-a-days Tim is making his way back into the scene & doin’ it with a bang. Having 11+ years of experience behind the decks, Tim came to rock it
& has truly been considered as a jack of all trades.
